E-COMMERCE/SALES CO-ORDINATOR

We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic E-Commerce professional to join the sales and marketing team of a well-established, family run hotel group with properties in Portugal and Switzerland. The ideal candidate should be outgoing, vibrant and an innovative individual who is able to work independently and promote at all times the brand image and market status, as well as maintain accurate documentation and data/performance reports.

Job Description
As an E-Commerce/Sales Co-Ordinator you would be responsible for seeking online marketing opportunities and managing the SEO of the hotels’ websites while bringing revenue to the business. The role will include key responsibilities such as:

  • Develop direct and semi-direct online channels to check and improve the hotels’ Internet presence.
  • Evaluate the performance of the hotel websites with good analytical reports and give suggestions on how to promote and improve, with the intention of increasing bookings and keeping the websites up to date.
  • Monitor, implement and execute the active presence of the properties on Social Media to maximize their online exposure.
  • Monitor and develop e-newsletters pertaining to the properties and maintain all online channels to be accurate and brand compliant.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance audits on the properties descriptive content & images to ensure parity on all channels and integrity with the brand.
  • Identify and evaluate new marketing opportunities to increase direct internet traffic and revenue.
  • Monitor online presence and the position of immediate competitors.


Skills and Experience:

  • An advertising, marketing or communication graduate with work experience in a similar field.
  • Computer literacy is essential with effective communication skills, verbal and written in English, Portuguese and Germany also an advantage.
  • A creative individual with a strategic mind and good computer knowledge and internet skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team as well as reliable and self-motivated to work alone.
  • To be customer focused and results driven.
  • The availability to travel abroad and work from home

 

MASSAGE & BEAUTY SPA THERAPIST

Our spa offers its guests and local clientele a variety of organic treatments and is looking to increase the spa team. Current vacancies are available for a part time therapist (16 hours week) and/or a freelance therapist with the opportunity to earn treatment commission. Certified qualifications are essential with the ability to provide references.

Job Description

Working as an integral part of a small team delivering a variety of organic spa treatments including: facials, massage, deep massage, manicures, pedicures and body treatments plus Reflexology (but not essential). The role will include key responsibilities such as:

  • Start of day opening of the spa and wellness suite
  • End of day spa and wellness suite closure
  • Advising on and taking treatment bookings face to face, by phone and email
  • Meet and greet spa customers in the spa or at the hotel’s main reception
  • Complete and analyse initial consultations forms • Perform single and double treatments according to the hotel’s guidelines
  • Offer aftercare and product sales recommendations
  • Keep product displays stocked and clean
  • Develop a good knowledge of the spa product range (training provided)
  • Contribute sales and marketing ideas with the aim of increasing business revenue


Skills and Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • At least one year’s experience as a Beauty Therapist, however this may be less for the right candidate
  • Practice of good hygiene standards • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • The drive for exceeding client expectations
  • Friendly, welcoming personality
  • The ability to work effectively in a team as well as reliable and self-motivated to work alone.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written in English, Portuguese and Germany also an advantage.
  • Be prepared to work shifts including weekends, with some flexibility

 

COOK

Responsibilities:

  •  Production of a la carte menus, set-menus and buffet;
  • Guarantees the quality of food and service;
  • Reception, storage and preservation of products necessary for the preparation;
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
  • Properly generate the time to complete the tasks;
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Proper waste control;
  • Care in the use and maintenance of equipment, machinery and material resources.
  • Passion for the art of well-received and customer satisfaction;
  • Fluent or able to communicate in Portuguese and English;
  • Adaptability and versatility · 

 
Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
  • Proven experience as cook: Between 3 and 5 years
  • Flexibility to work in shifts
