Our Romantik Hotel Vivenda Miranda is
situated in one of the most beautiful regions of the
Algarve. Situated in the southwest of Portugal, we
are only 2 km away from the town centre of Lagos and
85 km away from the airport in Faro.
The Algarve offers a pleasant and healthy climate
all year round, unlike most other European
Countries. With over 3,000 hours of sun every year
the Algarve enjoys more sunshine than the American
sunshine state of Florida. In the winter (December
January February) the temperature rarely drops below
10 C and in the dry and hot summer months the high
temperatures (maximum 33 C) are bearable, even for
those who come from northern Europe, due to the
steady light breeze from the Atlantic.
The early and late seasons are appreciated not only
by the golfers, equestrians and walkers, but also by
anyone who appreciates a mild and warm climate,
peace and contemplation.

Directions
From the airport take the “A 22” following the signs
for Portimão / Lisbon until you reach Lagos “este
“(Odiáxere) turn-off (exit nº 2). When you reach the
large roundabout turn right onto the EN125. Arriving
in Lagos you will cross a small bridge and shortly
afterwards you will come to a roundabout, here you
take the third exit. On this road follow the left
hand curve to the large roundabout with the “boat
fountain”, take the 3rd exit marked “Centro”. You
will shortly come to another roundabout, go straight
on here and you will find yourself on the “Avenida
dos Descobrimentos” (a wide 2 lane Avenue). Follow
this road, passing the town centre, the road narrows
into a single lane as it climbs a hill. After the
road curves to the right you will reach another
roundabout (With a large black ball hanging in the
centre). Turn left here towards “Porto de Mós” (3rd
exit), at the next roundabout go straight on. You
will pass Motel Ancora on your left and some 500
metres past this there is another roundabout. Turn
left here (3rd exit) and then take the first turning
on the right followed by the last turning on the
left. Drive straight on for 100 metres and you will
arrive at the Hotel entrance.
