Markets:
Farmers market: Every Saturday morning at the
bus station
Fish market: At the “Mercado Municipal” near the
Taxi rank, Monday to Saturday, mornings only.
Gypsy Market:
On the 1st Saturday of every month near the
Bullring. Here you will find clothes, pottery,
tools and utensils and a collection of domestic
animals.
Museums:
Centro Cultural de Lagos, Rua Lançarote da
Freitas, 22 (in the old part of town):
Exhibitions, Concerts, Theatre. Open 7 days a
week from 10h00 to 20h00
Municipal Museum, Rua General Alberto Silveira:
Exhibition of religious art and artefacts from
the Roman, Moorish and Visigoth eras.
Open Monday to Friday 9h30 to 12h30 and 14h00 to
17h00.
